The Complex consists of three high-rise towers on top of a podium structure with building 1 and 2 which are office towers with 33 and 42 floors respectively and building 3 which is a hotel and apartments tower with 22 floors. The podium comprises of 7 floors and consists of a concourse, an underground parking, technical space, retail, subway area (5 subway lines without stops in the building) and a subway entrance lobby connected with the existing station “Mezhdunarodnaya” on P6. The existing station “Mezhdunarodnaya” has a platform on P6 and its 2 sets of subway run outside the building property line. One of the main concern has been related to the potential transmission of the Moscow Metro vibration on foundation level -7 to the lowest guestroom floor of the hotel building at level 5. In addition another big challenge associated with the project site has been the noise ingress from the 5 carriages per side highway located 100 meter away from the towers façade. The acoustic design focused also on the sound isolation of the buildings structure and the façade as well as of the architectural partitions and flooring. The room acoustics recommendations were provided for the front of house and key program spaces to achieve a good comfort level in the areas. Final noise and vibration control of building services and plumbing equipment was also provided.
